April 26, 2015 Beatrice Perron Dahlen

Joining Jodi in taking a portrait of each of my children every week in 2015.

Otto:  "Mom I made you mud tea!  Do you want some mud tea?/"

Lilo: Nom, nom, nom, nom.

We don't mind a little mess around here.  And this, this is what I think childhood is made of.  So while I may not love cleaning up the aftermath, while they are so happily getting covered head to toe in mud (and eating it besides) I step back and love the fact that they are totally engaged for a while.  And then snap a few pictures.  (And, by the way, every day since these photos were taken has included some level of this.  It's spring and we're loving it.)
